FAQ
No. The dual-use sector includes technologies with civilian applications that can support the security and resilience of the state. These include, among others, software, AI, cybersecurity, modern logistics and construction materials for critical infrastructure.
Yes. Software (including AI-class systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, communications systems and cloud technologies) is a key element of modern security. If your digital solution supports operational efficiency, the protection of critical infrastructure or the securing of business processes, it falls squarely within the scope of PIDU’s activities.
No. We connect the entire value chain. For start-ups and scale-ups, we are a platform that makes it easier to reach large integrators (so-called primes), financing institutions and the state administration.
PIDU is not a commercial intermediary. However, we provide the essential knowledge about procedures (procurement), organise direct meetings with decision-makers (Roundtables format) and help build consortia capable of bidding in the largest tenders.
In the dual-use technology sector, trust is key. We vet our members to ensure the highest standards of transaction security and compliance. This allows us to guarantee a secure environment in which to establish sensitive business relationships.
Yes. The organisation is open to foreign entities operating in Poland or wishing to build partnerships within the Polish security ecosystem (e.g. through the development of local content).
To complete the active online form, two mandatory documents must be attached: a current extract from the National Court Register (KRS) / the Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG), or another relevant register, and an extract from the financial statements for the last financial year. We also encourage you to upload a company presentation (deck). At the application stage, we immediately make available a complete set of PIDU’s key internal documents, including the Statute, the Code of Ethics, a template NDA and a detailed membership fee structure.
The amount of the entry fee and the annual membership fees depends on the status (ordinary or associate member) and the size of the company. We present specific financial proposals after the application form has been reviewed.
No. PIDU ensures the confidentiality of business data. It is not published externally and is used solely to securely connect partners and build business relationships within the Chamber’s ecosystem.
The Management Board and the Risk Committee primarily analyse: the fit of the company’s business profile with PIDU’s priority domains, the stability and credibility of the entity, and compliance with the compliance standards that are crucial for maintaining transaction security in the defence sector.
